GX Media, Creative Director –
Knoxville, Tenn.; May 2002-Present
Created, directed and produced films, commercials and training videos fulfilling requirements and specifications of clients including The History Channel, Jupiter Entertainment, PBS, The University of Tennessee and the Black Box Theatre. Designed and published media including photo imaging, DVD authoring and video box art design. Developed marketing strategies, website design and development, and branding through professional consultation for businesses and non-profit institutions in the Southeastern United States.

Key Contributions:

  • Lead strategic thinking for utilities and platforms that were implemented on e-commerce websites and social media networks raising brand awareness, building customer base, and retaining existing customers.
  • Brought new technology into the creative process, sparking experimentation leading to the production and publication of award winning documentaries, socially engaging exhibitions, and masterful use of combinations of documentary photographs in award winning book forms.

EOD Technology, Field Office Administrator (FOA) – 

Lenoir City, TN; 2009-2010           

Held contract position supporting field activities for unexploded ordnance (UXO) disposal clean up at locations across the globe. Responsibilities include payroll and expense reporting, logistics planning, equipment support, daily and weekly business reporting to EODT HQ and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, travel planning and other on site support as needed. Have worked in multiple locations including Yakima, Washington and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Worked extensively and effectively with Deltek project management software dealing with time and expense reports as well as business intelligence solutions.

Key Contributions:

  • Worked hand and hand in management alongside a Command Master Chief Petty Officer, Navy Seals, United States Army Special Forces, and Marines, to lead all phases of successful project completion without incident or accidents on projects with budgets upwards of a million dollars.
  • Represented EODT management team in welcoming newly hired employees to the department, presenting 2-4 times a month, emphasizing the mission, goals and aspirations of the department and company.
  • Preened and developed reference documentation and software used by representatives to provide up-to-date, correct information.

Rogers & Weiss Creative Group, Co-owner –

Co-owned and managed business specializing in marketing for local food and beverage locations.
