George Washington Rogers IV

George W. Rogers IV was born in Athens, TN.

George graduated from The University of Tennessee in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts. After undergraduate school, George worked as creative director for GX Media, directing and producing films and commercials. He has filmed two award winning short films that have been screened at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival and the New York Short Film Festival.

In 2007, George graduated with his Master of Science degree in Communication and Information specializing in converging media and business intelligence from The University of Tennessee. George has traveled and done extensive independent research on emerging enterprises developing in Southeast Asian countries, specifically Vietnam and Thailand. He has also completed a documentary and book titled 4 Walls which chronicled the lives of slam poets in Knoxville, TN. In December of 2007, George received his MBA degree and has since pursued entrepreneurial endeavors to utilize the knowledge he has acquired and the life experience obtained from traveling abroad to successfully manage and grow start-up companies.
