“XY” -
What is memory?
Who is a person, but the reflection of his or her own memories?
There are three main stages in the formation and retrieval of memory.
Encoding, Storage and Retrieval.
What happens when the calculated nature of society, through the use of numbers as a classification element to label people, encroaches on personal memories and dehumanizes the individual as a result?

Directed by George Rogers. Edited by Brian Greer. From the “Transmissions” series of short films. Copyright 2003, 2005 Brass Knuckles Productions.
